So, this week we thought we would give you some of our history, how we operate and answer the question; Why choose VIP VoIP?
VIP VoIP History
VIP VoIP started in 2013 but the seed was planted much earlier back in 2006, when two of our original directors, Paul Maber and Bill Jackson were running an IT company in Portsmouth called Yestech.
They were looking at moving offices and wondered if they could keep the same business telephone numbers.
One if their team mentioned the VoIP could be an ideal solution, they were introduced to a VoIP expert and realised that not only was VoIP the best way to keep their existing number, but that it was technology they thought would be pivotal in the future of communications.
They were right, by 2012 they were selling VoIP equipment and had amassed a sizeable customer base. But, as with many businesses that diversify into innovative technology, they encountered stumbling blocks.
The particular VoIP architecture they were using was proving to be tricky to increase in scale and the original supplier was looking at leaving the VoIP sector all together.
Then a combination of fate and patience led Paul and Bill to find new business partners, Matthew Dale and Patrick Beaumont and voila, VIP VoIP was created.
Since then the company has gone from strength to strength and VIP VoIP now recruit resellers throughout the UK.
These four original founders are still fully invested in providing innovative high-quality VoIP solutions for our resellers.
Why VIP VoIP Is Different?
Unlike some communications solution providers, here at VIP VoIP we don’t tie customers into lengthy contracts.
Customers can sign up to a VoIP solution and if they find it is not the best solution for them, they can leave. No large contract opt out payments, no extra or hidden penalty charges, no extra cost.
We have found that not only is this a better and flexible solution for businesses but also that it means start-up businesses who don’t necessarily have the large budgets of established companies, can experience the benefits of VoIP technology without having to pay for a lengthy 18 or 24 month contract.
